It’s amazing that it snowed so much here in Georgia. We’ve been living here 11 years and never really saw more than an inch or two. This year we got eight, and it stuck around for some time. That was interesting.
It got me thinking about polar shift. That would also be interesting. We’d have to migrate or adapt. One of the perks to being immortal is you’d get to see what would happen. One of the drawbacks, too, is that you’d get to see what would happen.
My call to fellow writers: think about what it would mean to be truly immortal and to see things such as polar shifts, or the stars going black. Think about what it would mean to be there in the end. The real end. The heat death of the Universe.
